Children love folktales and fables. With their simple characters and settings, as well as an enticing conflict early in the story, folktales immediately grab a reader’s attention. PYP 3 learners were divided into groups and were asked to read different Folk Tales across the world like France, India, Germany, China and France. They chose one story and represented in the form of chart in their own words. They developed a sense of imagination when reading folktales and presenting the chart helped practicing their communication skills.
